Position Summary
Responsible for completing various maintenance tasks to ensure smooth functioning of systems for successful daily operations and guaranteeing safe conditions for staff and guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Troubleshooting, repairing, and preventative maintenance of equipment and structures to support the farm.
· Perform or assist with any general maintenance repairs or installations on equipment, structures, and buildings, as directed.
· Work with the Maintenance Supervisor in determining priorities for new maintenance projects. Handle emergencies as they arise, under Supervisors direction.
· Work with other maintenance team members on joint projects where mutual assistance is needed.
· Suggest changes/improvements that will best service our customers while constantly focusing on the mission statement of The Chef’s Garden.
· Drive, as needed, to various locations, including, but not limited to, Chef’s Garden property, hardware stores, etc.
· Any other duties as assigned
Requirements
· Construction, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance experience necessary
· Hydraulic, electric motors, and pneumatics experience would be plus
· Ability to work at high levels (on scissor lifts, articulating lifts, roof maintenance)
· Maintaining a positive attitude towards job and team members.
· High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent required.
· Valid driver license
· Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
· Ability to work overtime if necessary or be called in after hours for emergency situations
