Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and provide information about products.
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing products.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.

Sales and Transactions:
- Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately.
- Process payments, including cash, credit, and debit transactions.
- Bag and package purchases neatly and efficiently.

Product Knowledge and Display:
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all products, including their origins and benefits.
- Stock shelves, tables, and displays with fresh produce and other market items.
- Ensure product displays are attractive, organized, and replenished as needed.
- Monitor product quality and rotate stock to ensure freshness.

Cleanliness and Maintenance:
- Keep the market area clean, tidy, and safe for customers.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables appropriately.

Additional Duties:
- Assist with setting up and taking down displays.
- Help with unloading deliveries and organizing inventory.
- Participate in special events or promotions as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous customer service or retail experience is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Interest in agriculture, local produce, and healthy living is desirable.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds.
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
